Chief Justice SUTTELL, for the Court.

A jury found the defendant, David Rios, guilty of murder, kidnapping with intent to extort, conspiracy to commit kidnapping, and the commission of a crime of violence with a firearm. The defendant's sole issue on appeal is whether the trial justice erred in permitting two witnesses to testify that they observed the defendant in possession of a handgun on several occasions prior to the murder.
