The defendant, Daniel W. Gorman, appeals from a Family Court order that dismissed his appeal to this Court from a decision pending entry of final judgment. The trial justice dismissed the defendant's appeal on the ground that he had failed to take the steps necessary to ensure the timely transmission of the record to this Court.
