Pending before the Court are two appeals from the order entered in this capital case by the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas granting Christopher Williams ("Williams") a new trial pursuant to the Post Conviction Relief Act, 42 Pa. C.S.A. §§ 9541-9546 ("PCRA").1
