OPINION BY ALLEN, J.:

Aaron Thomas Luster ("Appellant") appeals from the trial court's order denying his petition for relief under the Post Conviction Relief Act ("PCRA"), 42 Pa.C.S. § 9541 et seq. Claiming ineffective assistance of counsel, Appellant seeks relief from an aggregate sentence of 14 to 28 years' imprisonment, which was imposed following his conviction by a jury of third degree murder and murder of an unborn child.1
