OPINION BY STEVENS, P.J.:
This is an appeal from the order of the Court of Common Pleas of Berks County denying Appellant Hermion Jay McLaurin's petition filed pursuant to the Post Conviction Relief Act ("PCRA"), 42 Pa. C.S.A. §§ 9541-9546. Appellant claims the PCRA court erred in dismissing his petition without a hearing as he alleges the ineffective assistance of his trial counsel entitles him to a new trial.
