¶ 1 This case is a direct appeal from judgment of sentence. Appellant was convicted of one count of criminal solicitation (18 Pa.C.S.A. § 902(a)) with the intent of promoting or facilitating the rape of a child under thirteen (18 Pa.C.S.A § 3121(c), a felony of the first degree).
