Defendant appeals from a judgment of conviction for first-degree manslaughter and felon in possession of a firearm. On appeal, defendant challenges only his conviction for manslaughter, arguing that the trial court plainly erred by failing to instruct the jury on the "initial aggressor" limitation to a claim of self-defense.
