Defendant appeals from a judgment convicting her of discarding trash within 100 yards of waters of the state, ORS 164.775(1). The charge arose out of two piles of trash along the bank of the South Umpqua River: a pile about 20 feet from defendant's tent and tarps and a number of bags of trash inside the tented area.
