At issue in this civil action is a trial court's order dismissing as untimely plaintiffs' claims against a public school district. Plaintiffs alleged that when they were in the fifth grade, a teacher who worked for the district sexually abused them, but that they did not know that their teacher's touching was abusive when it occurred.
