In these consolidated cases, defendant was convicted of two counts of burglary in the first degree, ORS 164.225. The first case (the Holly Lane case) concerns the burglary of a house on Holly Lane on March 18, 2009. The second case (the Benham Lane case) concerns the burglary of a house on Benham Lane on March 26, 2009. Defendant appeals both judgments and assigns error to the trial court's denial of his motion to suppress statements that he made to police...
