Defendant appeals from a judgment of conviction for murder, attempted aggravated murder, first-degree assault, unlawful use of a weapon, and conspiracy to commit murder. Defendant asserts that the trial court erred in admitting hearsay testimony of two police detectives concerning statements that defendant made to them through police interpreters. He also challenges the trial court's admission of other evidence in the face of a different hearsay objection...
