Defendant appeals from his conviction for unlawful delivery of a controlled substance, ORS 475.840(1)(b). Defendant asserts that the statements that he made to a police officer after receiving Miranda warnings1 should have been suppressed because the officer had previously questioned him without first giving him Miranda warnings, in violation of Article I, section 12, of the Oregon Constitution.
