Defendant appeals his convictions for eight counts of first-degree sexual abuse, ORS 163.427, and eight counts of first-degree sodomy, ORS 163.405. He assigns error to the trial court's denial of his motion for judgment of acquittal on all counts. Defendant asserts that the state's case at trial hinged on three groups of self-incriminating statements that he made.
