In this attorney discipline case, the Bar charged the accused with violating Rule of Professional Conduct (RPC) 4.2. Generally, that rule prohibits a lawyer from communicating on certain subjects with a person whom the lawyer knows is represented on those subjects. The trial panel found that the accused had violated Rule 4.2 and publicly reprimanded him.
