In this wrongful discharge action, plaintiff seeks review of a Court of Appeals decision overturning a jury verdict in his favor. Plaintiff argues that, contrary to the Court of Appeals' view, his discharge was tortious, because he was fired for engaging in conduct that fulfilled an important societal obligation.
