HASELTON, P.J.

Defendant appeals his conviction for possession of a precursor substance, ORS 475.967, arguing that the trial court erred in denying his motion to suppress evidence. As explained below, we conclude that, under the analysis of State v. Toevs, 327 Or. 525, 964 P.2d 1007 (1998), the trial court correctly denied suppression. Accordingly, we affirm.
