{¶ 1} Appellant, L'Ddaryl D. Ellis, appeals the judgment of the Eighth District Court of Appeals denying his motion for an award of statutory damages under the Ohio Public Records Act, R.C. 149.43. We reverse the judgment of the court of appeals and hold that Ellis is entitled to statutory damages.
