{¶ 1} Following a bench trial, defendant-appellant Donald Cowins appeals from the convictions and sentences imposed for his brutal attack on Amber Bardoff and her boyfriend Barry Motley. Cowins attempted to rob each at gunpoint, restrained Motley, again at gunpoint, and then moved Bardoff to a secluded spot and raped her orally and vaginally.
