{¶1} Defendant-appellant, Jeremy S. Damron, appeals from a judgment of the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas convicting him, pursuant to a guilty plea, of one count of felonious assault and one count of domestic violence and imposing a term of incarceration in which the trial court did not merge the two counts under R.C. 2941.25. Defendant assigns a single error:
