{¶1} Defendant-appellant, Justin Tabasso, appeals his felonious assault conviction. He raises two assignments of error for our review:

[1.] The conviction was against the manifest weight of the evidence. [2.] Trial counsel was ineffective in that he did not request an instruction on self-defense, as it was appropriate in this case.
