May appeals from a judgment of the Lake County Court of Common Pleas which convicted and sentenced him pursuant to his guilty plea to burglary, aggravated robbery, robbery, and kidnapping. This matter implicates the concepts of allied offenses and merger, an area of law that has undergone constant changes in recent years.
