HALL, J.
{¶ 1} In September 2010, Lance Shackleford pleaded no contest to one count of felonious assault causing serious physical harm, in violation of R.C. 2903.11(A)(1), for stabbing a woman multiple times.1 The trial court sentenced Shackleford to 5 years in prison.
