{¶1} On April 20, 2004, appellant, Dennis Payton, was found guilty of one count of rape in violation of R.C. 2907.02, one count of kidnapping in violation of R.C. 2905.01, two counts of gross sexual imposition in violation of R.C. 2907.05, and one count of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor in violation of R.C. 2907.04.
