DONOVAN, J.

{¶ 1} Defendant-appellant Edward W. Madding appeals his conviction and sentence for one count of resisting arrest, in violation of R.C. 2921.33(B), a misdemeanor of the first degree. As a result of his conviction, Madding was ordered to serve ninety days in jail, with seventy-one days of his sentence suspended.
