INTRODUCTION

{¶ 1} Donald Martin grew marijuana in his basement. Police discovered the marijuana while they were performing a protective sweep in response to a reported burglary in process. They approached Mr. Martin and asked permission to search his house, which he granted. They discovered, in addition to the marijuana, cocaine and firearms.
