{¶ 1} Defendant, Michelle Simmons, appeals from her conviction and sentence for patient abuse.

{¶ 2} In July 2009, Defendant was a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) who worked at Riverside Nursing Home in Harrison Township, Montgomery County.
