{¶ 1} This case originated as an action by a financial institution to recover money damages on an unpaid consumer auto loan. Appellee Angel Moncreace borrowed money in 2004 in Steubenville, Ohio, to purchase a used car. The auto loan was in the amount of $7,996.55.
