{¶ 1} This is an appeal from a summary judgment for a plaintiff in an action on a claim on an account. The action was commenced by appellee, TPI Asset Management, L.L.C. ("TPI"), against appellant, Debra Conrad-Eiford. TPI alleged that Conrad-Eiford owed a balance of $14,325.04 plus interest on a Visa credit card account that was due, and that TPI succeeded the rights of the creditor by assignment.
