{¶ 1} Defendant-appellant, Ricky D. Demus, appeals his conviction and sentence for one count of possession of heroin in an amount greater than 50 grams but less than 250 grams, in violation of R.C. 2925.11(A), a felony of the first degree. After a jury trial, Demus was found guilty of the charged offense and was sentenced to a term of seven years in prison. Demus filed a timely notice...
