OPINION

FROELICH, J.

{¶ 1} James D. Ingram, pro se, appeals from a judgment of the Darke County Municipal Court, which awarded $2,875, with four percent interest, to Fawn R. Oswalt on her small claims complaint for reimbursement for home improvement expenses. In a separate entry, the court rejected Ingram's counterclaim for $3,000, representing alleged rent payments from November 2006 to August 2007.
