{¶1} Appellant, Walter P. Whaley, appeals his conviction for domestic violence claiming a statutory speedy trial violation occurred pursuant to R.C. 2945.71 et seq. Appellant filed a motion to dismiss on speedy trial grounds, but the motion was overruled.
