WILLAMOWSKI, P.J.

{¶1} Defendant-Appellant, Phillip Schmidt ("Schmidt"), appeals the judgment of the Mercer County Court of Common Pleas finding him guilty of reckless homicide and two related drug offenses. On appeal, Schmidt claims that the trial court erred when it denied his pre-sentencing motion to withdraw his Alford guilty plea and that he was denied effective assistance of counsel.
