{¶1} In January 2004, defendant-appellant Barron Brown was found guilty by a jury of one count of possession of heroin, a violation of R.C. 2925.11(A), one count of trafficking in heroin, a violation of R.C. 2925.03(A)(2), and one count of conspiracy, a violation of R.C. 2923.01(A)(2).
