OPINION

FROELICH, J.

{¶ 1} Mickey Cole was convicted after a jury trial in the Miami County Municipal Court of assault, in violation of R.C. 2903.13(A), and resisting arrest, in violation of R.C. 2921.33(B). The trial court sentenced him to 180 days in jail for each offense, to be served consecutively. Cole also pled guilty to drug possession, a minor misdemeanor; he was fined $150, and his driver's license was suspended...
