{¶1} November 8, 2004, Ray Platt was working as foreman for Ashtabula Construction Company, Inc., supervising the construction of a penthouse on top of a factory owned by Picken's Plastics, Inc., in the city of Ashtabula, Ohio, when he approached too closely to, or touched, electrical lines owned and operated by The Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company.
