ANN DYKE, J.:

{¶ 1} Defendant-appellant, Jordan Thomas ("appellant"), appeals his convictions and sentence for two counts of felonious assault. For the reasons that follow, we affirm appellant's convictions, but remand to the trial court with instructions to vacate his sentence and for resentencing.
