OPINION

WOLFF, J.

{¶ 1} John Turner, Jr. was found guilty by a jury of possession of crack cocaine in an amount exceeding ten grams. The trial court imposed a prison sentence of two years, a fine of $7500, a two year license suspension, and court costs.

{¶ 2} On appeal, Turner has advanced two assignments of error, the first being:
