OPINION

DONOVAN, P.J.

{¶ 1} Plaintiff-appellant Melissa A. Boyd (hereinafter "Melissa") appeals a decision of the Champaign County Probate Court which equally divided the $40,000.00 family allowance, pursuant to R.C. § 2106.13(B)(4), between Michael Brian Boyd's three children, Ashley Boyd, Briana Boyd, and Michael Ryan Boyd. Melissa filed a timely notice of appeal with this Court on November 6, 2008.
