{¶1} Plaintiff-appellee, William E. McKahan, was a veteran railroad employee of defendant-appellant, CSX Transportation, Inc. Towards the end of his employment with CSX, McKahan developed, among other things, carpal tunnel syndrome, which ultimately prevented him from working.
