JOURNAL ENTRY AND OPINION

JAMES J. SWEENEY, J.:

{¶ 1} Defendant-appellant, William N. Davis ("defendant"), appeals his convictions for multiple sex offenses. After reviewing the facts of the case and pertinent law, we reverse and remand for a new trial.

{¶ 2} On September 17, 2007, defendant was charged with 31 counts of rape and gross sexual imposition involving his two nieces, D.T.11
