{¶ 1} Defendant-appellant, Nobblin Godfrey, was found guilty by a jury of aggravated robbery, robbery, and four counts of felonious assault. On June 18, 1997, after merging various counts, the trial court sentenced Godfrey to a term of ten years' incarceration for aggravated robbery, and to two eight-year terms for felonious assault.
