{¶1} Appellant Timothy West filed a petition for postconviction relief in the Jefferson County Court of Common Pleas that was denied without a hearing. In Appellant's petition he argued that he received ineffective assistance of trial counsel when he was tried and convicted on six counts of rape of a child under 13 years old.
