OPINION

FROELICH, J.

{¶ 1} Vernese Butler and Denzel Hollis filed personal injury claims against Monte Stevens in the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas. The claims arose out a single vehicular accident. In 2007, a jury awarded Butler damages in the amount of $9,983.34. In 2008, a different jury found that Hollis was not entitled to damages. Butler and Hollis appeal from these judgments.
