{¶1} During a snowstorm in February 2007, plaintiff-appellant, Kathleen Lawson, was walking through a strip-mall parking lot when she slipped and fell, breaking her arm and wrist. Lawson sued the owner of the commercial lot, Anna Scinto, and also Benchmark Construction, the company Scinto contracted with to plow/maintain the parking lot.
