WAITE, J.
{¶1} Appellant Henry Shannon was convicted in 1989 on three counts of rape with a sexually violent predator specification. The court sentenced him to 8 to 25 years in prison on each count, to be served concurrently. He was paroled in 2004, and one of the terms of his parole was that he not leave Ohio without permission from the Adult Parole Authority. He missed a meeting with his parole officer in 2005 and was later arrested...
