{¶1} The defendant-appellant, Nicholas Schwieterman, appeals the judgment of the Mercer County Common Pleas Court sentencing him to an aggregate prison term of 24 years. On appeal, Schwieterman contends that his sentence violates the Eighth Amendment protection against cruel and unusual punishment, and that the trial court erred by imposing consecutive and non-minimum sentences.
