JOURNAL ENTRY AND OPINION

FRANK D. CELEBREZZE, JR., J.:

{¶ 1} Appellant Larry Johnson brings this appeal of his guilty plea. After a thorough review of the record, and for the reasons set forth below, we reverse and remand.

{¶ 2} On June 30, 2008, appellant pleaded guilty to one count of rape in violation of R.C. 2907.02 A(1)(b), a first degree felony, with a sexual violent predator specification.
