OPINION

FROELICH, J.

{¶ 1} Scott Stoner ("Stoner") was convicted after a bench trial in the Clark County Municipal Court of violating a domestic violence civil protection order, in violation of R.C. 2919.27(A)(1). The court ordered Stoner to pay a $300 fine and court costs. The sentence was stayed pending appeal.
