{¶ 1} Christopher Wells, a home remodeler and general contractor, was found guilty of one count of theft by deception and one count of theft beyond the scope of consent, both fourth degree felonies, after a bench trial in the Champaign County Court of Common Pleas. The charges stemmed from Wells' failure to perform exterior renovations to the home of Daniel Walter ("Walter") and Cheryl Dixon Walter...
