{¶1} On October 31, 2008, appellant, Claudia M. Unger, filed a notice of appeal from a September 30, 2008 judgment entry of the Lake County Court of Common Pleas. Thus, Claudia's notice of appeal was filed thirty-one days after the judgment had been issued by the trial court. Claudia's notice of appeal was due on Thursday, October 30, 2008, which was not a holiday or a weekend.
